Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (Spanish-speaking). Caldwell-Clark, a 501c3 nonprofit counseling agency, is currently hiring one hourly MFT intern position (Spanish speaking required) at our San Diego location (in Sorrento Valley). Pay starts at $25/hr for client contact. Weekly group supervision, and occasional inservice trainings, are provided.
Minimum requirements include: (1) Current, active MFT intern registration in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (note: those whose applications are pending will not be considered). (2) Strong clinical skill development, including an understanding of systemic approaches and cultural competency. (3) A defined area of clinical preference or specialization, evidenced through advanced training or clinical experience. (4) An understanding of, and fit with, the Caldwell-Clark mission and services. (5) Documented ability and experience in providing Spanish-language services to bilingual and monolingual-Spanish clients.

On-call MFT Supervisor. Caldwell-Clark, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mental health organization, is seeking to contract with an on-call backup supervisor to provide group (and potentially in rare cases, individual) supervision to Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Interns employed in our San Diego location. Groups are currently Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current, active marriage and family therapist licensure in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Able to legally provide supervision to MFT registered interns. Availability to fill in, sometimes on short notice, for regularly scheduled supervision groups. Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills. Familiarity with and adherence to state and federal laws and regulations, and the AAMFT and CAMFT Codes of Ethics. Understanding of, and fit with, the Caldwell-Clark mission and services. Particular consideration will be given to those with AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Candidate status.
