Furthermore, you agree that should any part of these terms of use be deemed illegal or unenforceable under current San Diego County, California state and/or United States federal law, you remain bound by the full remainder of the terms of use.

Disclaimer. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, changes due to security breaches, or any third-party content on our site. Staff, business hours, contact information, event schedules, and all other information is subject to change without notice.

Information gathered. You have a right to confidentiality when contacting us regarding therapy services. Visiting a web site is not by nature a confidential act. When you visit this or any web site, the site gathers data on which pages you have visited, how long you stayed, and so on. This data is gathered anonymously and we at Caldwell-Clark use it to improve the quality and functionality of our site. Other products and services you may be using (including your web browser) may simultaneously be gathering similar data, subject to their privacy practices. You are solely responsible for the protection of your browsing history. This is particularly important on computers with multiple users. For your protection, if you prefer others not know of your visit to our site, we recommend clearing your browser's history and cache, and fully exiting your browser application, when you are finished visiting our site.

Third-party services. Our site includes links to external web sites. We are not responsible for the content of these sites, and provide the links for informational purposes only. The presence of a link on our web site should not be construed as an endorsement of the linked site or those connected with it. Communicating with us. You assume all risks involved with unsecured email, including the possibility of interception, when sending us electronic correspondence (this includes the contact forms on our site). By submitting a contact form, you acknowledge that this process does not guarantee information security. In addition, you grant us permission to contact you via the phone number submitted.

Limitations of online services. We do not provide counseling or therapy services over email or the internet. Links and forms on our website that prepare and/or send email are provided solely as a means of initially contacting us. Your communications with us via email, including responses from us via email if you have so allowed, do not constitute a therapeutic relationship. Such a relationship is not commenced until you have made a formal appointment for therapy, completed and signed a treatment contract, met with a therapist, and agreed to a course of treatment.

Specializations. Any areas described as Specializations on staff profiles are meant to indicate that the staff member has at least some training or experience in that area beyond the minimums required for completion of the graduate degree and registration as a California marriage and family therapist registered intern. If you have any questions about the specific training or experience of any member of our staff, please do not hesitate to ask.

Donating. Caldwell-Clark is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible. Donating to Caldwell-Clark will not in any way affect the therapy services available to you through Caldwell-Clark. (Therapy services are provided on a fee-for-service basis with fees established based on household income; see Fees for additional information.) When you donate to Caldwell-Clark through Network for Good or any other third-party donor service, we may contact you in accordance with their and our policies.

Mailing lists and other marketing information. We do not sell, rent, or in any other way provide our mailing list to third parties.
