All clinical services at Caldwell-Clark are provided by Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Interns under the supervision of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Interns

Each of our registered interns has completed a graduate (masters or doctoral) degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related field. They are considered "registered" because they are registered with the state's Board of Behavioral Sciences as they work under supervision to complete their experience requirements for independent licensure.

In both our Los Angeles and San Diego locations, we have interns from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages, specializations, and language abilities to meet your needs. Supervisors

Each of our supervisors (who are also our co-founders) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Both have been licensed for at least five years.

Benjamin E. Caldwell is the lead clinical supervisor in Los Angeles. Aimee Zakrewski Clark is the lead clinical supervisor in San Diego. For more information on either supervisor, please click on their name.
